As a mother helper at her daughter’s kindergarten she couldn’t find that for her child. The teacher’s requirements for assessment and creating a perfect portfolio placed demands on the children that didn’t sit right with her.Her daughter’s kindergarten portfolio came home perfect!! However, Annie knew she couldn’t colour in the lines. She wondered who had done the work.After a period of having her daughter at home and trying to bring school home, she noticed that a flow of learning was happening without her planning and directing everything.
