Sweater Weather, Swamp Justice & Robot Vacuums Gone Wild
For one beautiful evening, St. Louis experienced something almost forgotten: comfortable weather. Rizz had the family outside. The dogs were running around. Everyone was smiling. Nobody was fighting. There was a breeze. Lern started dreaming about jackets again. And then the forecast said 99 degrees. Welcome back to Missouri, where “sweater weather” is apparently just a limited-time promotional offer. Episode 36 of The Rizzuto Show starts with weather optimism and immediately deteriorates into tanning beds, alleged hidden cameras, marital resentment, robot-vacuum surveillance and a full courtroom debate over what technically counts as cheating. In other words, another perfectly healthy daily podcast. The first major story comes out of Arnold, where the show discusses a man facing multiple felony invasion-of-privacy charges after police said an investigation uncovered evidence of people allegedly being secretly photographed or recorded in tanning facilities at a local gym. It’s creepy, invasive and exactly the kind of story that summons one of The Rizzuto Show’s least legally recognized institutions: Swamp Justice. Lern proposes a Game of Thrones-style walk of shame. Rafe wants to add an unpleasant tanning session beforehand.
