AC/DC has officially taken over St. Louis, and somehow that’s the least dangerous thing happening on today’s show. The crew kicks things off with the AC/DC pop-up at Ballpark Village, the massive crowds surrounding the show and Moon remembering the actual AC/DC Lane he visited in Melbourne—complete with murals and enough rock history to make every tribute band immediately reconsider its career choices. Meanwhile, Lern is preparing for AC/DC and the Foo Fighters, who are hitting the stage promptly at 7 p.m. Seriously. Seven. They’ve only mentioned it approximately enough times to have it tattooed on everyone entering downtown. Then Sexy Time Fun Facts arrives to destroy whatever dignity this funny podcast had left. After wondering how their previous friend-of-the-show with enhancement surgery is recovering, Rizz brings in the much darker story of an influencer who died following a cosmetic penile enhancement procedure in Bangkok. According to the story discussed on the show, the 43-year-old underwent injections intended to increase his girth before developing severe chest pain and collapsing. The crew breaks down what reportedly went wrong, the inherent risks of cosmetic procedures and the unfortunate lesson that sometimes chasing “one last upgrade” is a catastrophically bad idea. This also gives Moon the opportunity to recall seeing what he believes were some truly spectacular cosmetic enhancements in the wild during a cruise. And yes, we’re talking about butts now. There’s apparently an Ozempic-related “big butt shortage,” Rafe would like everyone to support the cause, and the show briefly considers doing squats in tribute. This is technically health and wellness content if you lower your standards enough. Then we move from physical enhancements to another modern threat to relationships: your stupid phone. A marriage and family therapist’s viral list of suspicious smartphone habits has the crew examining the little behaviors that can make your partner wonder what exactly you’re hiding. Secret passwords? Phone suddenly face-down when your partner enters? Hiding the device? Changing passcodes without mentioning it? Angling your screen away like you’re protecting classified intelligence? Congratulations, you’ve turned checking Instagram into an episode of Dateline. Lern actually has a legitimate excuse for acting shady around Tim: she was secretly planning his birthday bridge surprise and nearly blew the whole thing when a Marco Polo message started playing while Tim walked into the room. Unfortunately, “I promise I’m hiding something GOOD from you” isn’t traditionally the sentence that restores confidence in a relationship. Moon then remembers a touring buddy who apparently forgot to mention one extremely important detail while enjoying Singapore: he was engaged. That omission became significantly more problematic when the tour manager later called him, immediately started discussing his overseas adventures…and discovered the guy’s fiancée was sitting beside him on speakerphone. That marriage did not happen. Weird. From privacy screens to password changes, sudden defensiveness and treating your phone like it requires top-secret clearance, the crew reaches the obvious conclusion: smartphones aren’t necessarily ruining relationships. Being a shady prick while holding one might be. AC/DC. Questionable enhancements. Giant butts. Secret birthday plans. Singapore disasters. And an alarming amount of discussion about which direction your phone is facing.
