How to test your way forward without burning your life and career to the ground
Today we're exploring how to test your way forward in your career without burning your life to the ground, and why the two most important moves are not the ones you'd expect. From the outside, it can look like you're simply lacking clarity. Like if you just did one more assessment, read one more book, had one more late night research session, the next step would finally reveal itself. But here's what I keep seeing with the women I work with: the problem was never clarity. It's the trust to move before you're certain, and the willingness to sit with the discomfort that comes with facing what the goal actually requires. In this episode, I walk you through the two things that actually move you forward. Coming back to your identity before your strategy, because the woman making the decision matters more than the decision itself. And strategically experimenting, small, reversible, real world tests that run alongside your current life and income instead of blowing it up. I also share the pivot I got wrong years ago, an entire cosmetic science diploma I didn't need, and the small unpaid experiment that told me the truth instead. If you've been having the same conversation with yourself for longer than you'd like to admit, I want you to sit with this question: what's the smallest, most real test you could run this week? If this is resonating and you'd like a small place to begin, I have a free series called Bold Moves from Solid Ground that walks you through the foundation of this work and takes it deeper.
