Series 3- Episode 5: A Colourful Summer - Scarlett Bowman
In today’s episode we discuss the practise of another of our exciting Summer Auction artists Scarlett Bowman. Scarlett's cards, Lots 94/95 are textural, beautifully composed pieces and can be found at artonapostcard.com. Scarlett speaks about her process-led practise, engaging with found materials, minimising waste in art production and the enjoyment of the physical experience of creating works using collage and assemblage to piece together her sculptural works. Scarlett also worked as an actor on Hollyoaks for a while and we discuss how having a multifaceted career can be challenging but ultimately that one's deepest passions will always prevail.
