Earlier this week, Oakland Interim Mayor Kevin Jenkins announced the firing of former Mayor Sheng Thao’s city hall staff, starting with the canning of Leigh Hanson over an allegedly problematic note-taking issue, and followed by the rest of the staff that had been hired by Sheng Thao.
