Remembering Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin w/ Dhoruba Bin Wahad and Kalonji Jama Changa

Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as civil rights leader H. Rap Brown, is an American Muslim cleric and former Black Power activist whose life has spanned community organizing, political leadership, and later religious guidance. He died this week at the age of 82 in a correctional medical facility. We’ll talk with Kalonji Changa and Dhoruba Bin Wahad about his legacy.  Kalonji Jama Changa is an organizer, founder of the FTP Movement, and the co-chair of the Urban Survival and Preparedness Institute and is co-founder of Black Power Media. He is also author of the bestselling book, “How to Build a People’s Army” and co-producer of the documentary “Organizing is the New Cool.” Dhoruba bin Wahad is an American political activist and author, former leader of the New York Black Panther Party, and co-founder of the Black Liberation Army.
