TTS Company Launches Bite-Sized Leadership Development for Growing MSPs, Podcast

Thiel says people management often becomes more difficult as a company grows beyond 30 or 40 employees. “As you grow, you are going to have to add more people,” Thiel says. “There is a need for a minimum level of structure and different types of HR support.” Leadership development in smaller doses TTS Company is also launching The Vault, an app-based leadership development community designed to replace traditional, one-time training sessions with continuous learning. The Vault provides weekly challenges, leadership training, practical resources and a question-and-answer feature that connects users with TTS Company. “A lot of HR training is intimidating, expensive and can take an entire day,” Duwenhoegger says. “The Vault makes ongoing development more accessible.” Rather than attending a seminar, receiving a binder and returning to old habits, users can access short lessons and practical guidance from a phone or computer when a specific workplace issue arises. The resource library includes guidance for interviewing potential leaders, preparing for performance conversations and managing other common employee challenges. “It is not a single event,” Thiel says. “Every week, you are getting new challenges and continuing to develop yourself.” The Vault is available on Google Play and desktop, with an iOS version planned. TTS Company is offering ChannelCon attendees 60 days of complimentary access. For smaller and family-owned MSPs, Thiel says formal HR practices may initially appear unnecessary.
