Gypsy Rose’s Doctor Wrote WHAT Years Before Ken Died?!
Before the recordings about Ken Urker and a disputed custody plan, a doctor wrote something extraordinary about Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s childhood medical treatment. Neurologist Bernardo Flasterstein examined her in 2007 and recorded a strong possibility that Dee Dee Blanchard was presenting illnesses Gypsy did not have. Earlier muscular-dystrophy testing did not support Dee Dee’s account. Gypsy could support her weight when the doctor examined her. Flasterstein documented his concerns but did not report the family to protective services, saying he believed he lacked enough information to act. Dee Dee later moved her daughter’s care elsewhere. Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott looks at the damage that years of disputed diagnoses and unnecessary restrictions could leave behind, and at the limits of what can be inferred from medical records. That past collides with a new controversy following Ken’s death on October 1, 2026. In a recorded 2025 prison call, Gypsy described damaging Ken’s headboard with a knife and said he threatened sole custody of their daughter Aurora. Ken’s sister Autumn tells a different story about the couple’s final separation and his plans for their child. Gypsy’s published September 2 texts instead describe cooperation on joint custody. No reported police complaint documented the knife incident. The past medical record may explain the public’s competing views of Gypsy, but it cannot decide the facts of Ken’s death. Authorities had made no allegation that she caused it. Tony Brueski puts the old records beside the new accounts without treating rumor as evidence.
