Music Trivia, Memories, Debates, and Plenty of “how did I forget that one?” #DJNTV
Tonight on the DJNTV Tuesday Night Music Show, Brian S Redd and the crew throw the normal format aside for a fast-moving night of music trivia, memories, debates, and plenty of “how did I forget that one?” moments. The show kicks off with a challenge to name bands whose names are also places, leading to Chicago, Kansas, Boston, Asia, Alabama, Berlin, Europe, Ohio Players, Florida Georgia Line and plenty more. From there, the crew flips the game around and starts naming songs with cities, states and other places in their titles, including everything from “New York, New York” and “Detroit Rock City” to “California Dreamin’” and other location-inspired classics. The conversation then turns to favorite music biopics and documentaries, with the guys discussing films about Selena, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, James Brown, the Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire and Billy Joel. Along the way, they talk about what makes a great music documentary: going beyond the obvious hits, telling stories fans may not know and giving viewers a better understanding of the artists behind the music. Finally, the crew takes on the surprisingly difficult category of “three-hit wonders.” Can you find an artist with three songs everyone remembers—but not four, five or ten? Dexys Midnight Runners, Mr. Mister, Cream, The Zombies, Gerry Rafferty and others enter the debate as everyone discovers that defining a true three-hit wonder is much harder than it sounds. It’s a loose, unscripted music conversation filled with trivia, forgotten songs, disagreements, laughs and the kind of rabbit holes that happen whenever a group of DJs starts talking about music. Join the conversation: What band named after a place did they miss? What’s your favorite music biopic or documentary? And most importantly—who is the ultimate three-hit wonder? #DJNTV #TuesdayNightMusicShow #MusicTrivia #DJs #MusicHistory #ThreeHitWonders http://www.djeventplanner.com http://www.madebydjs.com http://www.djrequests.com http://www.djntv.com/amazon
