The Watchman
I want to share about “the watchman.” What is a watchman? And what is their responsibility? I was headed to a ministerial alliance meeting several years ago, and as I was driving, I thought, “Do I really need to be going to this? Am I only going out of tradition?” As I was thinking this, I heard the Lord say to me: “Watchman.” I knew immediately what he meant. In order to be a watchman over my community, it was important that I attend and learn about upcoming issues. The Bible teaches that the Christian can stand as a watchman against the forces of evil. It is essential in these latter days to be vigilant and exercise discernment.
