With over 30 years as a psychotherapist and a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Antioch University, she has dedicated her professional life to treating children, families, couples, and individuals. After specializing in addressing abuse and dysfunctional family dynamics, Phyllis retired from her psychotherapy practice, shifting her focus to writing Phyllis has authored three books, "A Light in the Darkness" and "Into the Fire" and recently completed her latest work, "America in Therapy."
