Olympian on the run, private health care in Alberta, combatting ticket scalping, and more
He’s a former Canadian Olympian — and one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives. And the U.S. is now offering $15 million for information leading to the arrest of Ryan Wedding. RCMP Commissioner Michael Duheme was in Washington for a joint news conference with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, after seven Canadians were arrested — seven people officials say have ties to a criminal organization headed by Wedding. And: Premier Danielle Smith says doctors in Alberta will soon be able to work in both the public and private health care systems simultaneously. Also: The UK wants to combat scalping tickets to concerts and other shows. The new rules will ban reselling tickets for a profit.
