I was really hoping for a 3rd season of 13 Minutes to the Moon when I stumbled across this and it is phenomenal!!! I can say as a child of the 80’s and huge space nerd, this is really well done!
Absolutely Outstanding!

Several years ago, I had the opportunity to hear for the first time the BBC production of 13 Minutes to the Moon. It was easily one of the finest documentaries I had ever heard regarding Apollo 11’s descent to the lunar surface. Produced and presented by Kevin Fong, he managed to put you in the driver seat along with Armstrong, Aldrin and Mission Control. A year or so later he introduced Apollo 13 during the programs second season. It was equally outstanding. No longer with BBC but working with the same production team he just released 16 Sunsets: a history of the space shuttle. It does not disappoint!! Truly an outstanding program. I’ve just finished the episode “Abort, Abort, Abort” where he again puts you on the flight deck of the shuttle in a genuine Abort that I had completely forgot occurred. If you think you have the right stuff… If you’ve ever thought of being an astronaut… let me assure you that very, very few people have the stones to be sitting in the cockpit of a flying bomb headed to orbit. A truly awesome program that I cannot recommend highly enough. Listen to them both!
