San Pedro's been consistent too—the Pursuit scored big with 34 calico bass, 8 sheephead, and 72 blue perch on a full day trip. For lures and bait, you're looking at sculpins and sheephead territory right now. Live mackerel works, but the whitefish bite is telling us smaller profiles are doing well. White or pearl-colored jigs in the 2 to 4-ounce range should connect. Hot spots? Long Beach Sportfishing and 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro are firing.
