    4. Embracing the Art of You

    In this episode of Life Off Broadway, Jeneen Hammond invites listeners to broaden their view of the word, Masterpiece.  You will enjoy a delightful clip from her children’s music curriculum, “I am a Masterpiece.” Jeneen shares how embracing this perspective of being God's masterpiece has been a foundational standard for her personal life and professional career. She shares her favorite scripture, Ephesians 2:10 which gives God's perspective of how valuable we are to Him. Jeneen acknowledges God as the Master Artist, the One who is always doing a greater work in our lives to turn imperfect situations into perfectly divine moments that reveal His will at just the right time and in the right season.     Celebrate Your Story

    In this episode of Life Off Broadway, you will hear another stunning performance clip of your host, Jeneen Hammond as she sings “Celebration of Life” from her One woman show, "Journey."  Jeneen takes us back to her hometown in New Orleans, Louisiana where she captures early childhood memories of authentic creole recipes and children playing outside until the “street lights came on.”   She sets the stage from her little yellow shotgun house and the irony of growing up on Music street. As Jeneen shares talent show moments with….or without the neighborhood kids, she sings commercial favorites about Sunbeam bread and Coca-cola that still resonate with her today.   Jeneen speaks about the hidden treasures we can find with a different perspective of our journey.  Jeneen asks, What games did you like to play?  What were you like as a child?  She mentions that dream seeds are tucked below the surface of our experiences and within us by God, the Maker who leads us to fulfill a greater purpose despite the good and bad memories.
