Neil deGrasse Tyson Answers Katee's Questions About the Universe
Hi Everyone! What better way to celebrate the holidays than having a conversation about space? If you love science— or if you're like me and you find it overwhelming— you're going to really enjoy this episode! Neil deGrasse Tyson has made a career out of teaching everyday people about the extraordinary true story of the universe. He has a new book out called Just Visiting This Planet, Revised and Updated for the Twenty-First Century: Further Scientific Adventures of Merlin from Omniscia, which I read and loved. In the book, Tyson plays a slightly snarky, all-knowing character named Merlin, who answers your big, nerdy science questions. He is also co-host of the StarTalk Podcast and regularly weighs in on the science (or sketchy science) of your favorite show. It was an honor and a delight to talk with Dr. Tyson and I have to say that as someone who has always been intimidated by science, he actually did make it accessible and fun!
