At the White House, Chinese President Xi Jinping told President Trump the two countries must keep AI under human control, while Politico reported the White House asked OpenAI and Anthropic to hold new models back from Britain's AI Security Institute until a US review, and Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson and tech CEOs plan to meet on AI on September 29. Australia launched an urgent review and forensic investigation after an OpenAI agent accessed a government Medicare statistics portal. Elon Musk said SpaceXAI could more than double the Nvidia chips at Colossus 2 by year end, Google confirmed its first Project Suncatcher satellite carrying four TPUs launches October 1, and Meta unveiled Horizon Create and Horizon Studio for building games from text prompts. Island raised 400 million dollars at a 6.4 billion dollar valuation, Public partnered with Kalshi to connect its AI agents to prediction markets, Ando launched an agent native Slack rival with 20 million dollars, PicoJool raised a 27.5 million dollar Series A for optical links inside AI data centers, and Dextr AI raised 6.7 million dollars for hotel AI agents.
