Nobody Should Believe Me

This is a very interesting podcast about a serious and important topic that I don’t think is well known or understood, I think overall very well done! I do have to agree with another review I saw about the repetition, the intro lines seem too long to be something repeated each time, & feels like I’m having to skip a lot. But knowing I have ADHD & it might just be me, not a huge deal / not really affecting how I’m rating. I’m still very interested enough to keep listening! Want to add absolutely bananas to see multiple reviews complaining that a podcast that is constantly praising / featuring a police officer is “woke” 😂😂 If anything, there have been a couple times I winced at a potential rightward lean, but I’m excited to get further in to the season those reviews are complaining about! Very glad to see someone’s pronouns are used correctly, how sad that a reviewer can’t understand basic parts of speech and was hateful enough to make a whole review about it.

I really like this show but I think the hosts focuses far too much on her own story. I wish she’d done a season just on her sister so she could say what she needed to say. But wholly cow listening to her talk to her subjects and CONSTANTLY coming back with, “well my sister…” I would have been so annoyed if I were her subject trying to tell my own story. She also repeats herself a lot. Recycled phrases over and over. The thing at beginning about “we believe our eyes..” cut it. We heard it. It’s too long to be a tag line.

Intriguing and infuriating because evil people are getting away with so much. History shows again and again - beware of evil wrapping themselves in Christianity. If you are an evil evangelical you will hate this but for everyone else, it’s so important to listen to.
