Many podcasters have decided that getting a guest to tell their best story is the ticket to a great show. Indeed, we're big fans of this kind of podcast format. How can it not be a winner every time? Well, you'd be surprised. Welcome to Storytime with Seth Rogen, where every week Seth asks somebody, “Do you have a great story? And if you do, will you tell it on my podcast?” That’s it. That’s the concept. Not a typical comedian-hosted chat show, each episode features a presentation unto itself, with supporting interviews and archival tape woven into each story with a rhythmic editing style. While not all the stories are knee-slap funny, it's worth a listen just for the editing effort where you can decide if it adds value to the story or distracts from it. Still, Seth is always engaged and reveals his curiosity about people and the world, and always ends up in an unexpected place.
