Facebook is back in the news again. And turns out, it’s worse than we thought. In part 2 we take a look at all the recent whistleblower revelations, including just how much the company knows about the harm it causes. The Wall Street Journal dropped conclusive proof that Facebook knew that their algorithms were dangerous all along. Whistleblower Frances Haugen went public with allegations that among other things, Facebook routinely places profits over public safety. The Senate commission on the capital insurrection got underway. Oh, and Facebook ignored all of that and they announced the name change to “Meta”.
