Now imagine being insulted, humiliated, having things thrown at you and being greeted by an angry mob as you make your way towards your school. Imagine then not being able to enter the school because the National Guard prevented you from entering and sent you home!!! That was the case for nine African American students who arrived at Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 4th, 1957.
