Owain Wyn Evans is an award-winning television and radio presenter- best known as the BBC North West tonight and BBC Breakfast weather presenter, as well as the host on the early breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 recorded in Cardiff. In 2020 Owain found international fame when a video of him drumming went viral and became the platform for his record breaking 24-drumathon for Children in Need. Owain regularly reports for the One Show and BBC Breakfast and is an ambassador of the charity LGBT Foundation. In this episode we chat all about Owain's breakfast show as well as how life was for him growing up in a small Welsh town and his beliefs in fate and manifesting! He has three amazing Sliding Doors moments including the moment he got his first job in TV at the age of 17. We delve into the brilliant moment when Owain met his husband on a night out- that very nearly didn't happen!
