Episode 47- Woody Allen & Zelig (1983) Part 2 of 2
We round off our 2-parter on Woody Allen and Zelig with discussion of the film's songs, the remaining plot, some of the celebrities featured in the film, and some of the funny lines in what isn't necessarily a comedy. In between all this, there are nods to The Elephant Man and Rain Man and of course tangents in all the right places... We hope our appreciation of the film has shone through. As for the creator himself, there's a chance he's done some heinous things but nothing has been proved. Woody certainly has a strange personality, and his innumerable quirks have enriched his films. There is also no denying that he holds a unique place in film history and popular culture, and as we discussed in the first part of our talk it's really up to us to decide what kind of relationship we want/need with the artists themselves.
