Winner of the Booker Prize 2020 Douglas Stuart joins Rob Gillett to discuss his new book Young Mungo and best-selling debut Shuggie Bain. Their conversation touches on Douglas's upbringing in Glasgow which provided much of the inspiration for his books, growing up queer in the city in the 1980s and 1990s and the associated problems of hyper-masculinity.
