    Black Mental Health W/ Dr. Abena Berry

    Hey fam! This week's featured guest is Dr. Abena Berry!!! A licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois. She currently works in private practice at the Gersten Center for Behavioral Health, but has worked in a variety of other clinical settings as well.     Today’s episode is all about what it means to ask QUALITY QUESTIONS! I share a little about my journey with one of life’s hardest questions, then I ask a few more that were once asked to me in a time of great duress and creative yearning. We journey through my life as a little kid becoming aware of herself, how I came to accept myself, my creative gifts and we also learn that holding recess back from a child does NOT go unforgotten.
