07. Planning 101: Suppliers to lock in first and tips for choosing your suppliers
In today’s episode we will help you know which suppliers are the most important to lock in first, as some services book up months and sometimes years in advance. I will also run you through my tips for choosing your suppliers and help you feel more confident in knowing you're choosing the right ones for you. You need to feel comfortable with them and build a relationship with them, then everyone is invested and the results will be truly amazing! Where possible, choose suppliers that have worked together before. For example, having a photographer and videographer that know each other and know how each other likes to work makes for much better results. Creatives bounce off each other, so if you are putting two together that don’t know each other from a bar of soap, then it’s going to be pretty hard for them to find a good vibe within the space of a few hours - what’s worse is if they do know each other but don’t work well together.
