Show Notes: On this week’s episode of Who’s There, I had the privilege of speaking with the writer and director behind a new movie called HOKUM, Damien McCarthy. HOKUM is out in theatres everywhere on May 1st and I can’t recommend it enough.Damien told me what it was like growing up with a horror loving father who owned a video rental store in Ireland, the horror directors he looks to for inspiration while on set, and what he includes and what he leaves out when he’s writing a new script. He then went on to tell me where the idea for the story in Hokum came from, including how he landed on the title, and how Adam Scott was cast, and so much more!
