Show Notes: On this week’s episode, I got to chatting with actor and director Emily Bennett. She has written, directed, and starred in films such as Alone With You and the upcoming Blood Shine. She told me how her upbringing in the church in Charleston, South Carolina contributed to her interest in horror, what still scares her in horror movies today, and what the filming process was for Blood Shine. She also told me about her new podcast that’s out now called The Tower where she speaks to creatives about their “tower” movies - the movies that changed everything for them.
