What Will Be Here? is set on earth 200 years in the future, where large-scale crises are fully normalized. But despite the bleak backdrop, this story is one of hope - of overcoming challenges, of making things that might be temporary, but also things that might be launched into space and continue on forever.

Very good but can still improve

I wanted to like it. The concept of self-interviews to document an uprising was interesting. It fell flat though. The mechanic char is incredibly annoying. There needs to be more world building and scene setting. Listening to the ramblings of characters leaves a lot to be desired or understood. Couldn’t finish because many of the characters were so negative or just boring. There’s potential here though. Just need to flesh it out and paint a picture where the listener connects to the interviewee and wants to hear their inner monologue.

Few can take the concept of “the end of the world as we know it” and leave audiences full of inspiration and motivation, but this show manages it easily! WWBH is full of heart, both warming and breaking in turn, and is beautifully written, acted, and designed from start to finish.
