I am your host Dane Campbell and I play drums for Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons & Straight Lines. In this episode, Mike explains his drumming routes and how he joined Embrace. He also tells us about having gigantic record label budgets for recording their earlier albums 'The Good Will Out,' 'Drawn From Memory,' 'If You've Never Been' & 'Out Of Nothing' and how Chris Martin from Coldplay approached them with the song 'Gravity' which was a big hit from the 'Out Of Nothing' album. He also explains why their Official England Football single 'World At Your Feet' possibly harmed the reputation of the band despite it becoming a big hit at the time. He also talks how got involved with Code Drum Heads and invested into the company himself and how they are now trying to take on the three major industry giants Remo, Evans & Aquarian drum heads - www.codedrumheads.co.uk He also talks about another project called Drum-Ed focused on drum education and lessons - https://www.drum-ed.com/ I hope you enjoy, please subscribe to the podcast via your podcast provider & YouTube, like and review where you can and share with anyone else who might be interested.
