In today’s episode, Amanda sits down over some dirty vodka martinis (thanks Tito’s!) with screenwriter, actor Kristy LaPointe (Yoga 101, Let’s Do This, Spilling Eve) to discuss puns, the entertainment industry’s obsession with youth, and the writing process. Kristy is the writer and star behind CBC Comedy’s comedy series Yoga 101 available to watch at cbc.ca. Her first feature screenplay Let’s Do This, which she co-wrote alongside her husband Chris, was selected for the Breaking Through the Lens program, the Harold Greenberg funding, and was optioned for development! Kristy hosts her own podcast Spilling Eve, a weekly podcast that celebrates and breaks down each episode of the amazing dark comedy series Killing Eve. She also has her own plant-based food blog where she shares delicious plant-based meals that she loves to help fight f****d-up diet culture while encouraging others to do the same.
