In June 2014, Derek and Maria Broaddus, along with their three young children, were preparing to move into their new house at 657 Boulevard in Westfield, New Jersey. The 6-bedroom house was described as the family's "dream home". However... three days after the sale was finalized, an anonymous letter was delivered to their new mailbox.
