Your Melodrama is Poisoning You
We have all been there. Tough times. A breakup, bad health, as arsehole boss. We have all had a story of suffering through hardship that we want to tell others, to get them to engage with it, with us. Some of us use these stories as a way of connecting with others, I know I have. But what I didn’t know at the time is that it was slowly poisoning me. Slowly turning people away, and in fact stopping the connection with the relationships which were healthy for me. Dwayne and Andrew talk this week about our melodrama, and why it is poisoning us and more importantly what we can do about it, when we are stuck with that drama running amok in our own heads.
