True Strength with Personal Trainer and Nutritionist Gabby Barreto, MS, RD, CDN, CSSD
Gabby Barreto, MS, RD, CDN, CSSD is a registered dietititian and personal trainer. She obtained her Master’s in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University and completed her Dietietic Internship at LIU Post. She is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics and specializes in eating disorders. She is a Professor at St. Josephs University in Brooklyn, teaching nutrition. She is also a Personal Trainer, a Certified Functional Strength Coach, Functional Mobility Specialist, Onnit Academy Kettlebell Specialist, and Kettlebell Athletics certified. An expert in Sports Performance Nutrition, she works with elite level students athletes at the high school and college level and loves helping athletes of all kinds build a strong nutrition foundation from an early age and to improve their performance. She works to help active women find new ways to build strong mental health around food, body image, and fitness. She helps them change their view of food and fitness from calories and weight focus to nourishing and strength-focused. Gabby says “As a Dietitian and Personal Trainer, I have seen it all.
