Meghan Markle’s Father Investigated Over Child Abuse Image Allegations: Duchess Reveals Why She Kept Archie and Lilibet Away
Meghan Markle has broken her silence following serious allegations against her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who is reportedly under investigation in the Philippines over suspected child sexual abuse material. The Duchess of Sussex says she was informed of disturbing allegations involving her father in 2018 and claims that protecting Archie and Lilibet was the reason she prevented him from having contact with her children. The allegations were made by Thomas Markle Jr., who claims he discovered suspected illegal images among his father's belongings and reported them to authorities. The Philippine Department of Justice has confirmed an investigation. Thomas Markle Sr. strongly denies the accusations, calling them lies and accusing his son of attempting to destroy his reputation. Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle has also rejected the allegations.
