Not just another crime-cast

It’s good. I’m surprised. I thought I was so over all these true crime .. everything. It’s such a saturated and depressing market (what does that say about American culture?). BUT, this didn’t overly sensationalize the cruelty and it didn’t give so many gruesome details and (so far anyways) there have not been any little children or missing mothers. There seems to be a real dedication to real journalism .. quite rare. And of Elaine, why did no one investigate the boyfriend of the mom?! He seems very likely to absolutely be the person who did this. The relationship with the mom, the money, the renovations.. Lastly, I love LA. I miss living there. I lived on the edge of Calabasas. I drove those roads so many times to Malibu and Topanga and the freeways and ..all of. But every time I hear about the police force, the lack of detective work, the lack of concern for the public and most especially those who have less money and women.. it’s for sure not a place you can trust the law to protect you.
The Most Thrilling, Captivating and Best True Crime Podcast.

I have never wanted to take the time to right a review until now. Listening to this podcast feels like one is listening to a live documentary rather than a host reading an old case report or new papers articles as is common with many true crime podcasts. If I were a criminal and lived and LA I would be more afraid of what this group would dig up than the authorities. It is also a great example of how little the government can do due to time and budget issues. It is truly the best true crime podcast available.

This is such an amazing podcast. I enjoy listening to your podcast. Beautifully done. Makes me so sad that Elaine was never loved by her mother. I cannot believe Susan not behind bars for murdering her daughter. Susan clearly did something to her daughter. Susan has the answers. Money hungry.
