The Night Stalker (1972)
A vampire is stalking the streets of Las Vegas in this television movie from producer Dan Curtis (DARK SHADOWS) and writer Richard Matheson (I AM LEGEND). Darren McGavin (A CHRISTMAS STORY, BILLY MADISON) stars as Carl Kolchak, the reporter assigned to cover the series of murders. THE NIGHT STALKER was the most successful television movie ever aired at the time of its release and led to a sequel, THE NIGHT STRANGLER, in 1973, and a 1974-1975 television series entitled KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER.
