Atlanta Braves ace Spencer Strider landed on the injured list with severe right elbow inflammation after an alarming velocity drop. Max Muncy went 3-for-3 with two runs, two home runs, four RBIs, and two walks Saturday, Michael Soroka went 7 innings allowing two hits and one earned run with seven strikeouts, Jackson Chourio hit two home runs Saturday, and the Rockies faced the Athletics. Max Meyer pitched 6 innings allowing six hits and three walks with one earned run and nine strikeouts against Paul Skenes who went 6 innings allowing four hits and one walk with two earned runs and 10 strikeouts, Miles Mikolas threw 7 innings allowing three hits with three strikeouts, Keibert Ruiz went 3-for-4 with two runs, one home run, and two RBIs, and Geraldo Perdomo hit a home run and stole a base.
