GUEST: Jonny Hirschmugl, Artist In this week's episode, we work our way through how to have meaningful conversations about COVID-19 business (LIFE) shutdown/reopening and Black Lives Matter, and how to find that ideal moment when you can re-enter the world of marketing your business without being tone-deaf to the bigger conversations that need to happen. Jonny Hirschmugl is a local (and beloved) Petaluma artist who was at the start of relaunching his art business in a big way when the COVID shelter-in-place was implemented. After taking a step back (and a few deep breaths) throughout the shutdown, he is now navigating that delicate balance between the promotion of his craft (read: making a living) and honoring the emotions and actions of a community that is still very much in the depths of recovering from the trauma of a complete halt of life as we knew it.
