Monetary Resources Available to Small Businesses in Today's Environment
How will the coronavirus pandemic impact small business owners? About the experts Steven Mednick, Associate Professor of Clinical Entrepreneurship, USC Marshall School of Business Steven Mednick is an expert in entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, strategic alliances and angel funding. He is the past Associate Director of Marshall's Center for Global Innovation and is an author and frequent speaker in the field. Professor Mednick currently teaches in the Marshall MBA, EMBA and Master of Medical Management programs and is a two-time winner of the Marshall Golden Apple teaching award. Outside of USC, he has advised over 500 early-stage companies through his ten-year relationship with the Small Business Administration. Steve's clients have reported over $620 million in economic impact to the SBA, and he has been awarded the SBA's State Star for outstanding performance. Greg Kling, Lecturer of Accounting, USC Marshall School of Business Greg was a partner at Kling & Pathak LLP prior to its acquisition by a Big 4 accounting firm. In addition to providing tax planning, tax compliance, and business consulting services during his career in public accounting, Greg also provided IRS and state tax audit representation for both his clients and clients of the other tax partners. Greg is a full-time professor who specializes in individual, real estate, and state/local tax issues. He is also the update author for the LexisNexis treatise, Federal Taxes Affecting Real Estate. Mike Daniel, Regional Director, Orange County Inland Empire SBDC Network Mike Daniel is the Regional Director of the Orange County Inland Empire SBDC Network, which assists aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners throughout Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
