What is Fertility Yoga, and How Does it Work? with guest Lynn Jensen
Lynn Jensen is a yoga expert, and she created the "Yoga for Fertility"program in 2002, after dealing with her own fertility challenges for several years. She practiced yoga while trying to conceive, and noticed that it had many benefits: it gave her more resilience, and helped with her mindset while going through fertility treatment. She wanted to take what she learned to help other women who are trying to conceive, and I could not be more excited to have her joining me on the podcast today! In addition to talking about the best poses for boosting your fertility, how yoga for fertility is different than regular yoga, and also she shares thoughts on why yoga can help anyone who is TTC: "Yoga can help shift your mindset to one where instead of this is something being "achieved," (we're trying to 'achieve' this pregnancy,) that actually what we're trying to do is receive. That's a very different mindset and a very different way to approach it."
