It would be five stars if there was more episodes, like a weekly summary. I also don’t like that you have to be a subscriber to listen to the newest episodes. But I love all the news. Keep some of it up.

NPR has dumbed-down the news shows so much that it’s embarrassing. No wonder the NPR audience is shrinking.

Your quoting point changes in stock, etc. market indexes would become useful if you followed Kai Ryssdal’s example for how he reports them on Marketplace, i.e., include % chances.

Many probationary employees have been in civil service and worked for the federal government for many years however, they may have recently taken a new position which put them again in the probationary status. Please report that because no one seems to be reporting that.
