Hosts Rekaya Gibson and Angela Spears have a conversation with special guest Renata Simril, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the LA84 Foundation. Simiril is also the President of the Play Equity Fund. She discusses the impact sports and play have on the mental health in youth. She shares what her organizations have done during the pandemic to bring movement and play to students being home schooled. She gives advice to parents on how to support the mental health of young athletes.
