The Celtics (60-21) reached 60 wins in back-to-back seasons with Friday night's (130-94) win over the Charlotte Hornets at TD Garden. The Celtics pulled away from the Hornets with a 37-Point 3rd Quarter. The Celtics hit 23 3's and shot 51.6% overall from the field. ----- Scoring Leaders: Payton Pritchard (4 3's) scored 22 and Sam Hauser (6 3's) scored 20 with both coming off the bench in the win. Derrick White scored 19. Jayson Tatum had 16 Points, 8 Rebounds & 8 Assists. ----- Jrue Recognized with Red's Award: Prior to Friday's game Jrue Holiday was recognized as this year's Red Auerbach award recipient. The award for the Celtics legend is given to a player or coach who best exemplifies the spirit of what it means to be a Celtic though exceptional performance on and off the court. Derrick White won the award for the 2023-2024 Season. -----
