I saw David Mills perform in London a few months ago and I was blown away by his unusually incisive hilarious comedy and stage presence. I contacted the club in London that he had performed at and Voila! A few months later, he is in the studio and across the mic from me!! I loved spending time with David on air and you will too. He's a very sharp, disciplined creative person, from a family of six kids, he was born in a small town in Pennsylvania. He had a salesman father—his family moved around A LOT. And church every Sunday—which can be conflicting for a young person who knows he's gay, As a professional comedian, David has lived in San Francisco to New York to London and now he's in town!. Because of his large family upbringing, David has really developed an independence and resilience that has allowed him to thrive in the crazy entertainment industry. Award winning cabaret comedian, David Mills returns to Pangea with his new song and rant routine, glamour + despair with Jody Shelton on piano. Mills turns his acidic humour on today’s harrowing headlines, while skewering the unrelenting horrors of contemporary life and then, throws in a song. If you can’t sing as night falls, when can you? It’s a hilarious romp through the boneyard of contemporary culture. Art, politics, social media, casual sex and violence, and more. From his perspective as an American based in London, David Mills sees the absurdity of all of it and picks it apart with razor sharp gags and incisive satire.
